Why hitman?
Because he's a man that hit's people/stuff. =p
Why finally?
Cos there were a few incidents where cars drove too fast and skidded upon turning in front of my house.
----------------------------------------------------
How it started:
Saturday night was a good night to sleep late cos if you're not going to church or temple, Sunday morning is also the best morning to wake up late too! =p
So as usual, I slept at around 2am and woke up at around 10am. I came downstairs and continued to sleep on the sofa. Hehe, that's just the lazy-Sunday-morning me. =)
I saw my gate on the ground and a stranger was standing near it. So I thought my mum had called the gate company to do some fixes. (I was half-conscious =p)
But when I finally woke up, I saw the bigger picture!!
My mum said that a car had crashed into my house at 4am!! She even said "Didn't you hear anything??" Well, my room is located nearer to the back of my house and my parents room was in front. Albeit they could hear a louder "BANG!!" than me, but maybe I was just too sound asleep. =p
The driver was just a mere college boy who got his license earlier this year. He was hungry and drove the car to Devi's Corner. He intended to sneak out and return home quickly without his father or elder brother's knowledge. So he must've drove pretty fast. He claimed that he wanted to step on the brakes but hit the accelerator instead.
Well I tend to see it differently. I say that he wanted to rush home so he didn't even slow down at the bump but instead continued accelerating. But he didn't foresee the turn in front of my house and BANG!!
As you can see, my front gate is completely destroyed. My father's Mercedes, originally parked in parallel with my mum's Honda, was dragged all the way until it hit the wall and my front door.
Front of the car
My front door
The back of the car was smashed against the wall.
A closer look at the damage.
When the Mercedes was pulled out, the back was almost completely gone.
But his Waja wasn't any better either.
After the accident, people started arriving. There were workers from car workshops, neighbours, policeman, you get the idea. According to my mum, the policeman accused the boy for drunk-driving.
When the boy denied it, the policeman gave him 2 options:
1) Follow him back to the station to test for alchohol
2) Pay him RM200 on the spot
Obviously, he rejected both. The policeman was thinking that my mum would be angry cos the boy crashed our house. So he tried to make my mum say that he was drunk. But little did he knew that my mum hated the policeman even more for attempting to collect bribe.
Even after my mum said that he wasn't drunk, the policeman refused to leave. He was also holding on to the boy's IC and driver's license. (trying to force the bribe)
All I wanna say is FUCK YOU!! We already paid you!!(taxes) What more do you want?!
On the other hand, the neighbours weren't just standing around.
The neighbours were a big help.
The wall that took the impact broke taking a pillar with it.
My neighbour wasn't too happy about the wall either.
After the cars were towed away, it left my house gate-less.
What a nice view huh? NOT!!
See how strategic my house is? It's located right at the point where cars have to turn. And to make it worse, it's actually a big U-turn.
All I can say is, this ain't the first time that a car had hit my house. Just that during the last crash, it crashed into the cherry tree that used to be in front of my house. And there weren't any bumps to slow the cars down. It was more than 10 years ago though.
Using that accident, my mum appealed to the city council and they built the bumps. But the last bump before reaching my house is no longer as "tall" if you get what I mean. That means that cars need not slow down when encountering that bump.
So my mum is gonna make another appeal and hopefully the city council would at least improve the conditions, even if just a little.
For now, I just hope that the bicycles in front of my house don't get stolen!! xD

Forgetfulness...
For old people, it's called the Alzheimer's Disease.
For me, I don't know what to call it. "Mr. Forgetful" perhaps?
I forget so many things a day that I forgot how many it was!! Get it? xD
E.g. 1:
*While doing maths*
Me: Hey has anyone seen my mechanic pencil?
Person A: Is it the one you're holding?
Me: *face turns red* Oh yeah...
Small little things that I forget daily :
1) Sometimes I brush my teeth when I'm supposed to wash my face.
2) Eat lunch
3) Where my water bottle is
4) Where I put my keys
5) Where I left my bag in uni
Okay here's the irony, I forgot what I wanted to write in that list. So, if anyone would like to add anything, put it in the comments in this post k? =p
Sometimes I remember to do what I've previously forgotten, sometimes I don't.
Here's one picture I forgot to post in one of my posts :
This is the gaming mouse I'm currently using.
Its the cheapest Razer mouse!! xD
Forgetfulness is really not fun. I often forget what my parents had asked me to do. Sometimes even forgetting things that I want to do.
E.g.
1) I wanted to attend the UNIX Group training but forgot about it when it came 2 weeks later.
2) My father asked me to defrag his comp weeks ago and I only did it today.
3) I forgot what I wanted as my birthday gift.
4) I forgot what I wanted to write here... T_T
See what I mean?
Anyways lets forget about the forgetfulness =p
Here's some pics of my fluid lab session:
I was measuring the water flow that time. But I duno how my friend managed to take this shot. And I forgot what I was trying to say/do at that moment. =p
Mopping the floor after my group accidentally pumped the water too fast and sprayed at least 5people including me... xD
Here's my dynamics project!! Or at least how it was until we decided to re-do the whole thing. =D
And here's how it moved :
That's my group-mate in the video, Zhu-En.
*************************************************
Last Friday, Zhu-En invited me to join his futsal team to compete in a futsal tournament held at his church, Glad Tidings. I was enthusiastic about joining the tournament but I couldn't make it for the training.
However, I still followed him to the tourney that day. It started off with an introduction of the event and the rules.
Apparently, every team needs to have 2 girls on the field at all times. And the goalkeeper cannot be a girl, for obvious reasons. I was the goalkeeper for our team.
Here's something interesting too :
Guy scores = 1 goal
Girl scores = 2 goals
So basically we just put our girls near the goal hoping the ball would at least touch their leg before entering the goal. Most of the girls there, I can say, have not played futsal before. That includes the 2 girls from my team.
Girl 1 : I watch a lot of football but I don't play.
Girl 2 : I haven't played football in my life before.
See what I mean? Since the other teams have 2 girls too, I asked the girls in my team to mark them. So when tackling is involved, girl vs girl ain't gonna be that bad right?
Some teams really put their girls to good use. One time, there was a free kick and the opponent put one of their girls right in front of me. When the ball came, she dodged!! OMG...
Luckily, the ball hit my chest and I immediately caught it after it bounced off. Quite a creative tactic I would say.
But don't look down on the girls. A few of them can really play, and even out-perform the guys. There was 1 team where both girls were really good in football. They were placed up-front to score goals and 1 of them actually did.
Unfortunately, their defense wasn't strong enough and they conceded more goals than they could score. That was really sad, cos I really wanted to go up against them.
I bet you're bored right about now... So lets cut the crap and get to the point.
The tournament was based on elimination. That means if you're defeated, you won't get to play again. Since there were 18 teams, they couldn't split the ladder equally so they created blanks that represent wildcards. They will give a second chance to the "Best Loser" to play again.
My team won 3 matches and climbed up to the semi-finals. That's when we met our match. The team that we were up against, Up Tempo, scored a 10-0 win in their first match. Their players are extremely fast and skilled. Although their girls aren't as good as the afore-mentioned, but they can score if given the chance.
During the 10-minute match, both teams scored 2 goals each. So it had to be decided with a penalty kick.
After 3 shots, the referee announced that my team had won 2-1 in the penalty. Later on, I don't really know the details, but they said it was 1-1 and we had 1 last penalty. They shot first.
In the end, we lost. They scored the last penalty and blocked our shot. During that last penalty, I knew where the ball was going and 'almost' caught it. It was because of that 'almost' that we lost. The ball went right in-between my hands as I was about to catch it.
However, I had no regrets. I made a few new friends and I played like I never did. We went on to win the last match (for 3rd placing) and became the 2nd runner up in the tournament.
Here's the prize :
And that's about it!! Enjoy!! =D

An Inspiring Video
From Original Writer:
When I was in China last month, I saw a Chinese modern dance competition on TV. One couple won one of the top prizes. The lady has one arm and the guy has one leg. They performed gracefully and beautifully.
The lady in her 30s was a dancer and was trained as one since she was a little girl. Later she got into some kind of accident and lost her entire left arm. She was depressed for a few years. It seemed that someone asked her to coach a Children's dancing group.
From that point on, she realized she could not forget dancing. She still loved to dance. She wanted to dance again. So she started to do some of her old routines. But by her losing an arm, she also lost her balance. It took a while before she could even making simple turns and spins without falling. Eventually she got it.
Then she heard some guy in his 20s had lost a leg in an accident. This guy also fell into the usual denial, depression and anger type of emotional roller coaster.
She looked him up (seemingly he was from a different province) and persuaded him to dance with her. He had never danced before. "And to dance with one leg? Are you joking with me? No way!" But she didn't give up. He reluctantly agreed. " I have nothing else to do anyway."
She started to teach him dancing 101. The two broke up a few times because the guy had no concept of using muscle, control his body, and a few other basic things about dancing. When she became frustrated and lost patience with him, he would walk out.
Eventually they came back together and started training. They hired a choreographer to design routines for them. She would fly high (held by him) with both arms (a sleeve for an arm) flying in the air. He could bend horizontally supported by one leg and she leaning on him, etc. They danced beautifully and they legitimately beat others in the competition.
She without arm, he without leg - ballet - Hand in Hand
This video really inspired me that eventhough some people might have a disability, but that doesn't stop them from embracing their dreams.
When I knew that they each had their own disabilities, I felt a little sympathy. After I watched the video, I'm speechless. They have performed far better than their abled counterparts.
Why should I, equipped with a fully-abled body, feel that I'm at any disability to perform well in my daily challenges?
The point is, if you feel you're unlucky or handicapped, think again.
Even if you really are disabled, I see no reason for you to have a broken spirit and feel like the world has let you down when the fact is that you have let the world down by feeling that way.
Don't let the flame within you dim even a little bit. For if hope doesn't find you, you shall find hope.
I hope my readers feel the same way.
Enjoy! ^_^

Mother's Day Celebration
First of all, think of what your mum did for you for as long as you can remember.
Now, think of what you ever did for your mum in return.

Is there a heaven-and-earth gap between them?
Thought so...
That is why mothers are being appreciated worldwide on Mother's Day. Mother's day is officially on the second Sunday of the month of May. But anyone can celebrate it whenever they like. =)
Mine was yesterday night at my grandma's house. The food was so delicious, I ate until my stomach couldn't take it anymore =p
Let's see, we have:
Home-made Herbal Chicken
Pork Patties
Roasted Duck
Mixed Vegetables
Lazy to list the rest... =p
Don't ask me which dish is the most delicious, cos they are all equally delicious to me!! xD
Not only the food was good, even the drinks were tasty!!
Maybe too tasty... =p
The table we used for more than 20years is getting smaller, or maybe we are getting bigger!! =p
Didn't manage to take a photo when everyone was eating, cos I was eating at the same time! xP
Since everyone couldn't fit in 1 table, we had to split into 2 tables, the adult table, and the kiddies table =)
Just what were they fighting over?
Here's the answer :
My cousin... Always taking the bigger share of the chicken xD
My grandma just refuses to take a break!! That's why all the other mums volunteered to prepare most of the food. But nobody could make the "zhu kiok chou" (Pork in vinegar) as good as my grandma!! So that's the only dish she made =D
Ahh... nothing like a good laugh to digest all that food... =p
They were watching the Super Trio Supreme show on Wah Lai Toi. I seriously cannot tahan this show la... Always make me laugh until I stomach pain!! xD
Note: Sorry for the lousy image quality, it was taken with my K750i. That's the only way I could upload the photos. =)
To be continued when I get my camera cable... (^_^)

To love or not to love
Recently in my uni, many couples pop up like mushrooms after a rain. Its like, I know they're friends, and the next day they're couples already.
I myself, wish to have someone to love and be loved. I've tried to love, but I realise that I couldn't love unconditionally. I couldn't give that kind of commitment to a relationship.
I've experienced being liked by a girl, as well as liking a girl. But if I could not maintain the relationship, why start at all? It would just hurt the girl as well as myself. If I were to start a relationship, I'd rather prefer to let it start naturally. That way, I believe, is much closer to true love and a lasting relationship.
I'm the type of person who is into a long-term relationship. I would prefer my first love to also be the only love in my life. I'm not the type who likes to "surf around" if you get what I mean.
Don't be mistaken, I still do believe in love at first sight. But just maybe, mine has not arrived yet. She IS out there. I just have to find her.
From what I observe, most of my friends "do" something to contribute to the relationship. E.g. watch movies, eat out, go for concerts, go shopping, buy presents. To me, a relationship is just as simple as someone to talk to.
Your partner is someone who understands you the best and is willing to share your joy as well as misery. I can be just as happy eating maggi mee and watching pirated DVD's at home as going to the cinema, paying for the ticket and eating popcorn. As long as my lover is with me. The point is, money don't always have to be involved.
The truest of love cannot be bought with money, but can only be won over with an equal or greater love. And that's how it is going to be for me.
I would rather wait for my one true love than have a million girlfriends that I do not truly love.
LOVE is a big thing for me. That's why I reserved it for someone special. But when I give it away, I will give it all.

Short Update
Remember my new comp? When I finally replaced my previous computer with my new one, it blew on me. The moment I turned it on, I heard a loud "sparkkkk" and the CPU started smoking from the top!!
I quickly turned off the main switch and disconnected the CPU. When I tried turning it on again, there was no response. My guess is that the power supply is dead.
So I took it back to LowYat to have it fixed. Turns out that BOTH the power supply AND the motherboard "kong" together. Since it was less than a month old, he replaced it free of charge.
Eventhough it was fixed, my dad asked if he gave me better parts but he didn't. It was the exact same stuff that failed me earlier. I took it back with the fear of it blowing in my face again. Then the staff there would say that it's not their fault anymore and make me pay for the next repair.
This time, I played safe. I turned off all the switches on the 5-plug extension and only turned on the switches for the CPU and monitor. In addition, I only attached the necessities namely, the keyboard, mouse and monitor.
After it worked, I felt a little more assured to plug in everything. I prayed hard for it not to burst again.
Thankfully it didn't. =)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Tonight, I'm going out for butter crab at the seafood restaurant near the Tropicana entrance. Hehe, that's because this time I got to choose where to eat!! =D
Ever since Kee Peng took me there, I couldn't resist tasting it again. This time, I'm going with my family so I don't have to pay for it =p
---------------------------------------------------------------
Last Sunday, after I bought my comp, I went to this place to eat. It's my Mum's favourite place so that was where we celebrated her birthday =)
Here are the pics:
Organic porridge with barley cooked together.
The porridge alone is delicious, but together with the other organic vegetables, Patrick would consider this "orgasmic". =D
This is called "Lui Cha" (Lui Tea). It's the cafe's specialty and 100% organic.
My siblings enjoy the organic-ism of the food too^^
Don't underestimate this "yong taufu". It's also 100% organic and not to mention orgasmic =p
The Lui Cha tastes best when it's mixed together like rojak =)
My mum the "Rojak Master". My dad couldn't wait so he took some before my mum did her magic =p
Ooo... its a Hakka dish which was organictised =)
(pardon the self-created word =p)
You mean before this I ate "unpure" fish paste??? Lol...
OMG... Can you see my tummy and my belly button? xD
Random pose by me bro =)
Hey I was really gonna fall into the pool if my bro snapped the pic a second later!!
Oh the greatness of Motherly Love could not be described in words.
Mother's Day is around the corner, did you do anything for her? =)
Skip skop, hippitee hop! =D
The place is really nice, they have a cafe in MPH so my mum absolutely loves the serenity. =)
Hope you guys give this place a chance.
Its very near KLGCC if anyone knows.
If not, try heading to the VADS building (previously IBM) and ask around. =D
Tooduloo! ^_^
